Raymond
André was born in Alés on
Desember 22, 1941. He is the younger
brother of Maurice
André.
Recordings:
Raymond was a trumpet duo partner of Maurice André in the
1970ies. They can be heard together on on the label Erato:

Other career:
In 1971 Raymond was in charge of Opéra
de Limoges.
From 1973 he was a member of the Jean-Francois Paillard Chamber Orchestra (together with Claude Molenat and Rene Perinelli).
Teaching:
He has had the postition of trumpet professor in Tours, Poirtiers and
Nimes.
Raymond André has now retired from teaching and is living in his home town Alés.
