Reinhold Friedrich had several nice ensemble pieces with him, but there were too few players to play some of it (for 8 players or with trombone). Only 3 trumpet quartets were rehearsed and performed at the concert. These 3 pieces were nice and kind of "easy listening" - good for lot of occations!

• 4th do not use so much decrescendo, if 1st play f you can play ff
• the start: breathe in, play - do not nod head

Carl Busch: "Evening Promenade"

comments:

• use "more bow"
• have no fear to go into the music
• 3rd, think like Stamp: "down when going up, up when going down"
• give air!
• when tired: GIVE AIR! (this was the time when I understood the whole idea about trumpet playing - give air!)

G. Enescu: "Au Soir"
