The great teacher and trumpet player, Claude Gordon
Claude Gordon
(1916 - 1996), Band Leader, Trumpet Virtuoso and Educator,
was bom in Helena, Montana, U.S.A in April 5, 1916, into a
musical
family.
Claude was a
student of the famous Herbert
L. Clarke.
He moved to Los Angeles, California to study with Clarke for 11 years
until Clarke's death in 1945.
It was his
relationship with Clarke that set him on his road to success
with the advice, "Don't stop where I stopped, go further."
As an Educator,
Claude has published several CLAUDE GORDON METHOD
