Yes, I do. They are a great supplement to "the trumpet literature", both the simple but effective warm up and also all the other things. If you are bored by H .L. Clarke 2 (only major) use Allen's alternatives. In addition to learning the patterns you get to play other scales (minor, whole, dim.) - which is part of the "jazz vocabulary"

I agree with Allen. Use lip slurs later in practice. Warm up should
be short and effective to get ready for part:
2. Tech. Practice, and
3. Music,
